Primary Function

The Corporate Environmental Affairs Department is seeking an Environmental/Chemical Engineering student to join our team.  The Environmental Affairs Department leads and supports higher level company programs. In this role, the successful candidate will assist in implementing and improving global environmental and sustainability programs.


Through the student Co-op program, we hope to cultivate a potential future Environmental Engineer.  Key job activities of the selected candidate include, but are not limited to:


Key Deliverables


  • Assist with calculations, information gathering and special projects to support company environmental and sustainability programs (greenhouse gas emissions, water use reductions, transportation and sustainable products)
  • Work with sites on implementation of the company EHS-Management System
  • Analyze data and develop metrics reports
  • Participate in regulatory compliance audits

Knowledge, Skills, and Requirements:


  • Completed at least two years of coursework towards a Bachelor’s of Science in Environmental Engineering or related field
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0
  • Assertive, creative, energetic, inquisitive, and positive thinking
  • Demonstrated analytical problem solving skills
  • Developed time management skills
  • Ability to finish assigned tasks on-time
  • PC skilled with Excel and PowerPoint experience
  • Eligibility for work in the U.S without sponsorship required. Reliable transportation to the office is required
