    Position Title: Receptionist/Administrative Assistant

    Position Location:  Indianapolis, IN

     

     

    Ingredion is hiring a Receptionist/Administrative Assistant that will serve as a first point of contact for callers and visitors to the Indianapolis North Office. In addition, they will assist with the planning and coordination of Indianapolis North Office based events and other activities as needed.  They will also be responsible for scheduling meetings, maintaining calendars and appointments, sort and deliver mail, maintain inventory supply, book travel, expense report management, preparing correspondence/ documents and invoices for review and signature, ordering office supplies, and other general administrative support activities as required. They will act as the first point of contact for all building maintenance requirements and coordinate contractor activities thereafter; as well as managing the tenant relationship with the landlord. 

     

    As a Receptionist/Administrative Assistant , your responsibilities will include:

    • Answer incoming calls, provide information, route callers, and take messages as appropriate.

    • Greet and receive visitors, obtain identification, log names, and determine purpose of visit for tracking purposes.

    • Provide information to visitors and manage visitor flow.

    • Maintain a clean and inviting atmosphere in the reception area, as well as greeting guests and making them feel comfortable.

    • Provide administrative support for all North Office based personnel including the Plant Science Group.

    • Must be flexible, with ability to multi-task and work within given deadlines

    • Provide exceptional customer service to all internal and external contact

    • Coordinate logistics, schedules, meeting participation and reservations, for all internal and external meeting/conference related activities for the site

    • Prepare/write, compile, format, proofread, edit and/or type various correspondence, reports and technical information for publication and distribution

    • Organize and maintain files in accordance with company policies and procedures

    • Prepare PowerPoint presentations. Bind and distribute periodic books and other presentations/documents, for distribution to senior management or others as instructed.

    • Manage building maintenance at an appropriate level, managing the tenant landlord relationship.

    • Provide DOT administrative support.

    • Maintain a high level of confidentiality and ensure security for documents, information and projects.

    Qualified candidates will have:

    • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

    • 5+ years of experience in a corporate environment

    • Advanced Knowledge of MS Office Suite
